Jo Whalley Counselling Services

Jo Whalley Counselling Services have been working in schools across the North West since 2011 providing Therapeutic Play/Counselling for children.

Since 2018 we have also been providing supervision for Senior Leaders, SENCo, Designated Safeguard Leads and Early Years Foundation Staff. Our services offer support to staff in terms of their roles, Safeguarding issues, work-life balance and mental health and emotional well-being.

We have written and delivered training programs to schools to enable staff to have a greater understanding of how and why children behave in certain ways in school. This can help staff to view problematic situations in a different light and empower them to behave and react in a different way that will increase the possibility of a successful outcome.
