Kate Johnston
Therapeutic Play Practitioner and Counsellor

As a Person-centred therapist, Kate's practice is informed by the ethos of making a difference.

Underpinning experiential person-centred values, Kate aims to honour the individuality of children and young people by offering different ways in which they can express themselves during sessions; art, creativity, play and talking. Kate is passionate about providing a non-judgemental, trusting and caring environment in which young people and children can feel safe enough to explore their feelings and emotions.

Kate has experience in working with adults, young people and children, including looked-after children across various school and non-school settings. Her experience includes working with high-level trauma, grief, abuse and neglect.
